It's a hard rock life.

Tonight Christina and I decided to invest $3 each to help orphans in less-fortunate countries. That's right, we're talking about a benefit concert for charity. This one was put on by the Kaiizen Foundation at Hollywood Juice Cafe.

THE HANDSOME lookin' good

THE OTTERS workin' their tools

LOVE YOU LONG TIME embracing the audience

I think my favorite part of the event was the point-of-purchase advertising campaign devised by one of the Kaiizen volunteers. Lot's of people walk by Hollywood Juice Cafe and think about paying the money to get in whenever there's a benefit concert. There is like a ten second period where they need to be convinced, otherwise they listen outside for a second and take off. Check out this hysterical guilt trip of a campaign.

OPTIONS FOR TONIGHT'S SHOW:

a) Don't rock

b) ROCK, $3...help orphans

OPTIONS FOR TONIGHT'S SHOW:

a) Hedonism...you're selfish

b) Altruism...$3 for orphans

OPTIONS FOR TONIGHT'S SHOW:

a) Stand in the cold like orphans

b) Get warm, pay $3, and help orphans stay warm

OPTIONS FOR TONIGHT'S SHOW:

a) Impersonate Ebenezer Scrooge

b) Pay $3 so orphans can have Christmas

Now seriously, who could resist helping out those poor little orphans after reading this?
