An Update

My internship at Ogilvy is done. I'm feeling really good about my time there. In the last few weeks I really got put to work writing copy for SAP and SNY (Sports New York). I also got to work with some really great people who I can now call friends. The first ad I helped with runs today in a local NYC paper! Just a headline...but it's a start.

In other news, I underwent a brief surgery on Tuesday. I had to get an infection removed. Everything went well. I'm just taking it easy for now recovering. (I have to be healthy for my LAST WEEK IN NEW YORK CITY.)

And finally, next week is my LAST WEEK IN NEW YORK CITY. It's going to be a wild ride, for sure. In the meantime, I'm going to post some pictures of some of the things I've done in the past little while.

Sounds like those extra few weeks in NY paid off. Good luck recovering. Take it easy.

hi Seth! do you remember me from Honors Book of Mormon at BYU? I was browsing and found your blog. I am living in Greenpoint, Brooklyn (on the other side of McCarren Park) and working as a product designer, writer, illustrator. During the day I freelance for Martha Stewart and at night I write and illustrate children's books. My first book, Martha Moth Makes Socks, (coincidentally named Martha before I started working for THE Martha)was just published a few months ago. I'll be at BYU doing a book signing Thursday August 24th--anyway--hope things are going well!

cambria,
Your blog says you'll be in Salt Lake on Saturday the 26th. Where exactly will you be?

Cambria!

I was talking the other day with my friend Chris Crosby who went to high school with you. He told me about the book, and I've looked around for it, but haven't gotten to read it yet. I love what I can see of it online though. It's totally in the style I remember you for.

That's awesome that you live in Greenpoint. I actually lived there too for a summer. Wonderful Polish place. Anyways, I would like to meet up with you and do lunch or something if you are free. I'm in NY all this week. Maybe before you're big Utah debut?
