Smashed Potato

The other day my coworker Libby knocked over one of the potato-head ceramic figurines I got at DI a couple of weeks ago. Sure, Potato Girl only cost me $0.50, but she had already appreciated quite rapidly in sentimental value. Libby felt so bad she bought Krazy Glue and put her back together again. Thanks Libbinator!

Pardon us, Sir. You wouldn’t happen to have any spare candy lying around the house now, would you?

Booty

I went out and gathered candy with my nephews on Halloween night. It was my first time in 15 years to participate in this tradition. Kind of a silly practice really, yet kind of cool too. I wonder who started the whole practice of trick-or-treating in the first place. I'd like to think it has some profound historic purpose. Or maybe it was created in an effort to bring communities together. The world may never know.

There is one thing we can be sure of though. Mars, Nestle, and Hershey's are doing quite well these days.

So a pirate, a P.O.W., and Superman are out on the town...

Sometimes I wonder if choice of Halloween costume has anything to do with future adult professional life. If so, I think my family is going to have some serious issues.

Then again, if that were the case, I'd be a monkey right now.

Halloweening

Oh, this makes sense.

Portrait by Sulustu

Sulustu in Provo

On Sunday I got to spend time with my friend Barry from Washington. After church we went picture takin'. Barry is a self-taught master photographer. Here is a portrait I tried to do of him the way he does portraits of others. Then there's a couple of shots of campus too.
